Dear List,

I recently have upgraded from TMG 4d to TMG 6. I've had a few problems,
which I've reported to Dorothy and Bob. TMG 6 is very, very slow for me, and to
be able to see all of the report windows, I had to change my screen resolution
to something that is very difficult to read. I am very disappointed to lose
the old Family view. I used this so much as an analytical tool. Having the
Children window in the Layout screen is not the same as having, basically, a
family group sheet and being able to quickly switch between spouses and the
respective children. Even if I could see everything in the new Children window
as I could see in the old Family view window, it would crowd up my Layout
screen way too much. To be honest, I don't see any point to the new Family view
in TMG 6.

I am told that the way the Sentences are used in TMG 6 is different than in
TMG 4d, but I don't know what has changed.

I have a couple of questions about the editing of the Timelines and need to
report a problem:

1. How does one edit the Description of a Timeline (I never could figure out
how to do this in TMG 4d, and I cannot figure it out in TMG 6).

2. Some of my Timelines in TMG 4d did not transfer to TMG 6. The
Descriptions of a couple of these were blank. One of the Names had an underscore in it.
Some of them had Names and also Descriptions and no underscores. I cannot
figure out a rhyme or reason why some did not transfer. Does anyone have any
insight on this? I do not wish to lose all of the history I had in some of the
timelines I had created.
