Hi Terry,

Yes, I know about the variables and about different sentences for the
Principals. I have used mostly custom sentences since using TMG for many years.
Many of them are long, because I need to include the names of all of the folks I
consider principal players of the event in the [first] sentence. (This is
especially important in the tags of land records and events.) Then further
details follow in the Memos. And I write out waterways and places most of the
time instead of using the <[L}> variables (there are reasons for this, so I can
get the wording exactly as I want it). Then my Memo fields normally are quite
long (some many pages). So I'm not using a bunch of variables all of the
time, but writing words instead. When I checked on many of my Sentences after I
upgraded to TMG 6, all of the sentences I checked has transferred all right
from TMG 4d. I had been worried about that. So I hope that all of my sentences
did, in fact, transfer completely.

Thanks again.

There are a couple of new variables, including those to address the new
Witness Memo field. And you can now have separate sentences for the two
principals in a tag without using custom roles. I can't think of any other changes.
You TMG 4 sentences should work just fine and you can use them without change
until such time as you might find it helpful to take advantage of the new
features.
