The Children window shows all the children of the focus person. The children
of the current spouse are marked by a checkmark in the column on the left.
The current spouse is the one selected on the Family View tab of the Details
window.

Help helps. Check out the Layouts topic and related topics in Help.
There is a layouts topic on the message board with many screenshots and
discussion of the layouts that different people use.
http://www.whollygenes.com/forums201/index.php?showtopic=6384&hl=layouts
First, you cannot change and save the Standard layout. You can create
whatever layout that you wish by adding windows and toolbars in the program
workspace and saving that arrangement as a custom layout using the View
menu / Layouts / Manage layouts or by opening the Layout toolbar (View /
Toolbars / Layout) and clicking the [Save custom layout] button.
Layout files (*.lo) are added to the program folder.
Layouts are opened by selecting one from the View Menu / Layouts list or
from the drop list on the Layout toolbar.
Continual carping about the v6 Family View isn't going to get you anywhere.
It's not going to change. You need to concentrate on learning how to get the
most out of TMG6 with no preconceptions.
The interface in TMG6 can be customized to give you a working view that is
best suited to your work habits. There is not one font size setting in
Preferences... there are several of the Data Entry, Lists, Project Explorer,
and Other tabs. When you open a window and don't like the size, resize the
window to get the view to your satisfaction.
And please take advantage of Help where many of your questions have been
answered.
You need to run your computer at the native screen resolution of the
display.
You can make the TMG program window either full screen or windowed and, if
windowed, you can size the window as you wish. Saving a custom layout will
save the program window state, size and position.
