Well, considering that they aren't using the Palm OS or the Windows Mobile
OS, there are no current genealogy programs that would work on it even if
Apple allowed it.

Oh yes, I know that. I have the mini, and it is full, so the 16 gig
iPod with touch screen appeals to me on so many levels. I doubt if I
would have much room left for using the calendar, even if I wanted too,
once all the music and maybe a video or two was downloaded.

If Apple would consider that in the future, iPod/PDA with 3rd party
software like Ged Star that would work with TMG (to get on topic), I
would be able to cut down to one device in the purse instead of two.
