I can't see any confusion at all.

The only improvements would be a sort time or a sort index for intra date
events.

The only problem with that is let's say you have a Memorial service date for
15 Jul. Now you have to set the sort date for it for 16 Jul. Then let's say
you have a burial date for 16 Jul, the sort date for it is 17 Jul. It can
get confusing if you have lots of dates on several back to back dates.

Use sort dates to put them on different dates:

14 Jul 1746 Birth13 jul 1746
14 Jul 1746 Death15 jul 1746
14 Jul 1746 Baptism14 jul 1746

The tags will be then sorted correctly but have the same actual date. The
sort date is only used for sorting and no other purpose.

I have the birth, baptism and death of a child happening all within one day.
On his details the primary tags are listed in the following order:

14 Jul 1746 Birth
14 Jul 1746 Death
14 Jul 1746 Baptism

Is there any way that I can alter the order of the Death and Baptism tags
