Teresa,

I do not pooh-pooh any comment about computers. I've learnt that there
always seems to be a grain of truth in even the craziest idea - and yours is
far, far from that. I have taken note of your concerns. I had to re-install
Adaware a few months ago since it had become corrupted - refusing to delete
certain malware. Only a fresh installation cured my problem. I now
re-install such as Spybot and Adaware now and again - just in case.

Thanks for ALL your advice and guidance - it is very much appreciated.

Chris,

Glad the printer fixed the problem, but please don't pooh-pooh removing
Adaware. It can get corrupted just like any other program. I am well aware
of what it's original use was for, that was why we had it on our computers,
but apparently so was someone who was making Trojans. ;)

Hi,

Some people have mentioned Adaware being a problem. Please note that this
is the adware detection and removal product. I run this weekly, along with
running "Spybot S&D", and a full system scan by the anti-virus product - a
good couple of hours work which runs over night.
