You are right that it doesn't happen often, but it happens each time we
install a new version.
I had moved the menu location earlier and didn't think to mention it on this
list at that time (I guess I'm a little bolder now.) TMGU does not know
where I moved it to in the start menu, or even that I moved it. (How could
it?) Other programs during installation indicate where the program menu will
be installed in the start menu and ask if the user wants to change the
location. TMGU installation skips this step and installs itself in the
default start menu in the same old place, oblivious of where the TMGU menu
presently may be. I was just asking John to consider modifying this
behaviour in the future.
