Both JPG & TIF are good reliable graphic file formats. TIF tends to
be larger in file size, but is less likely to lose resolution with
each saving. JPG is also good, but each time it is saved, the image
becomes a little less sharp. If you only save the image file once
and never change it then it really doesn't make any difference except
that the JPG file will probably have a smaller file size.
