In my view, applying for a Soc. Sec. No. is exactly as much an event
as being enumerated in a census. I you have Census tags, I don't see
why you wouldn't have a Soc. Sec. App. tag. If you don't have a census

tag, I'd thing you wouldn't want one for Soc. Sec.

My sentence for my Soc. Sec. tag is:

[P] applied for a Social Security Number< [D],> while living at [L]<
where he was employed by [M]>

I also have a Role Unemployed, with a sentence of:

[P] applied for a Social Security Number [D], while living at [L],
while he was not employed

The purpose of the tag is to provide a vehicle to mention the address
and employer is a way that works better for me than Residence or
Living and Occupation tags.
