I think this will do it.

Run a List of People report and reset the flag to '?' for all.

Use TMG Utility to make the Marriage tag P1s male. (You can do many things
if the P1 is always male and the P2 is always female or the reverse.)

Run the original filter.

List of People report
filter
Is a Descendant of ID# (ID number) AND
Obituary... # of Tags > 0 END
with the spouses checkbox selected.

Now the males with the Obituary tag and their spouses have the flag set. So
now we need to reset the flag for the female spouses who have no Obituary
tag.

Run this LoP filter to change the flag.

(the flag) = (the set value) AND
SEX = FEMALE AND
Obituary... # of tags = 0 END

and set the flag to '?' for those individuals with the secondary output.
