Yes, I figure if our library in Huntsville, AL has it and it's a book on
Podunk Hollow, TN, then it's a fairly common book. If it appears to be a
scrapbook of Huntsville, AL engineers from 1952-1955, then it needs a
repository. <G>

Okay. That makes sense. I guess that's where I see a difference though.
For you, common is a book that could be found in any good genealogical
library. For me, common is a book that could be found in any library
anywhere. I know in the past I've had trouble getting my hands on a source
that I'd seen referenced in many other sources. My local library wasn't
able to get it for me via inter-library loan, but it was common enough
within genealogical circles to have been referenced by a number of authors.

It's fun to see how different people work. :-)
