Now that I understand what you mean, I would also like it to include the wife's full name, especially the census stuff.  As you can tell from my posts, I am struggling to understand TMG altogether.

Barbara,

The Name-Marr tag does just contain the surname. That is not where the issue
is. The problem is on tags such as census or obituary and so forth when I
want to choose to use the woman's married name, it is showing only the
surname there.

I've uploaded screenshots of the witness window showing the two different
results in the name choice boxes in the upper right differing only in that
one married name was created with a marriage which contained the given and
surname of the added husband and the other only contained a surname for the
added husband and the other.

Yes, it can be "fixed" by deleting the marriage and reading it with the
married name box after I know the husband's full name but this should not be
necessary especially since the husband's given name has nothing to do with
choosing the wife's full married name in a witness box.

Am I some how not being clear? I hope the screen prints help.
