I recently had the opportunity to go to Ft. Wayne and research in the
library there. Since my time was limited, I spent most of it searching for
any references to the four ancestor names I had in Butler County Ohio. I
found lots of good information, and lots of "oh, there's nothing in that
book/file/census/etc".
I've got the source data for all the sources I checked, and what I found (or
didn't).
It's easy to enter what I DID find, but how should I note that I checked
this or that and DIDN'T find the Anthonys or the Appletons? Seems like
that's important so I don't go checking it again for the same thing at some
later date.
Suggestions?
