I posted the info that you're referring to below. I'm sharing my project
(so far) with USA located family members and having "USA" show up (even
though it's only 3 letters) is not necessary. However, for the sake of
fairness, in that down the road things may change, I checked and it's very
easy using TMGU to do a search and replace "-USA" to "USA".

Whether the "-" is "really useful" or not is not really relevant, because
there are no family history police reviewing the reports that I'm
producing... so far anyways :-)

Come on, now. " USA" does not take up much space in a report (not like
"United States of America"), and makes locations that much more complete. So
it seems the "-" isn't really useful.

Note that some town-county combinations in the US (and in Canada) are
duplicates of those in Britain. The "USA" would emphasize to British readers
that this is not on that side of the ocean.
