In my dad's case, I have evidence, me. LOL I just recorded the city, and in
the citation detail did as you stated explained what happened. Just wanted
to point out reasons a person could die in one place but have a death stated
in another.

Teresa:

Enter the place of death into the Tag which is where you think the
person died. Tag data fields do not record evidence, they record
conclusions. Citations and Sources record evidence.

Death certificates are not infallible. If you have evidence placing the
death at a location different from the death certificate, and you accept
that evidence over the certificate, then use your normal approach to
citing conflicting evidence.
