Why not backup the sample project then restore only the filters into your project.

If projects are stored separately, each project in its own folder,
accents and filters are specific to the project and will move with
that project folder and project files. If multiple projects are stored
in a single folder, accents and filters are non-specific - available
to all projects in that folder.

An example of the specificity of filters is the Sample project (in its
own folder). It includes over 50 very helpful filters, but to access
them from another project, you have to copy the *.fl* files to the
other project's folder. There is a list of the Sample project filters
on page 7 (filter extensions explained on page 6) in
vblakelock.com/tmg7.pdf
