There are several reports in the archives of this error when filtering
for the tag type, and I get it too. Seems to be related to filtering
on a tag type where there is a witness. If you rightclick and use Edit
this tag, do you still get it? I think you've already done the
recommendations: close and reopen TMG, run Optimize-VFI-Optimize.

If you can Ignore it each time and the error message goes away, maybe
wait for v8 and see if it is a problem there. It's probably been
reported by now and fixed.
