I suspect that what you are really saying is that GEDCOM doesn't support
recording event/role sentences. Since all programs that use sentences do it
differently, there would be no intelligible way that a GEDCOM could do this.
The specs clearly support recording role names and a description of those
roles for events. Sure it is within the citation structure but the roles for
events can be recorded. Like I said, there are structural differences in how
TMG and GEDCOM record event roles.
