You did not pay for the software, you do not own the software, I don't
think that you have the right to give it away. What you paid for was the
media it was shipped on, and the right to use it as the manufacturer
deems fit.

If the software no longer works as you want it to on your upgraded
hardware then as they say in the Army "go see the chaplain" or as they
say in the genealogy world TC (Tuff Cookies).
