The main advantage to multiple monitors is the added screen space
available. I have the capability for three monitors on my main
system, but only have two moitors attached right now. If/when I have
a spare monitor, I may connect it as the third monitor although I
doubt it. The second monitor allows me to have TMG on one screen
and something else on the other screen. I usually have my mail
client running on the right screen and TMG on the left. I may run my
browser on the right screen at times or on the left -- whichever fits
my needs. In other words, multiple monitors allows you to have
multiple programs running at the same time and see two or more at the
same time without having to switch between them.

If you have an extra monitor hanging around, I'd say try it as I
suspect that you will like it. The big problem is desk space. If
you have newer flat screen monitors then that will not be bad (the
older huge boat anchors take a lot of desk space). With the
flat-screen monitors, you can get special stands to use that allow
you to have two or more monitors on a single stand which takes up
even less desk space.

Hope this helps -
