I totally agree. Once you have figured out how to record a particular type of source, don't go through that effort again. I find it helps a lot go use the coding system many have suggested here over the years, by starting the Abbreviation with a short code that describes the type of source.

If you do that, like sources are grouped together in the Less version of the Master Source List, making it much easier to copy a previous Source when I enter a new on.

By doing this, I find I only need to figure out the way to construct a Source when I encounter a type of source I've not used before.
