Rick,
Epson, Cannon and some Lexmark's have straight through paper feed. I never
have, and never will, use a printer with a feed that loops the paper, envelopes,
etc. back 180 degrees as do the HP's. What those 'loopy' feeds do to wedding
envelopes, cardstock, transparencies is a travesty!

Besides my Epson CX6600 working right, it's one of the few printer makes
which has a straight-through paper path, so that not only 8.5*11 paper
but also envelopes, transparencies, cardstock all print right.
I had an HP original DeskJet, which worked great (until repairs would
have cost more than a new, color, printer). After that I had another
DeskJet model, which had a failure rate on envelopes of over 50%.
This is my second Epson, also my second all-in-one; I used to hate Epson
(primarily because of installation problems I'd had), but I've gotten
over it.
