You can't really be sure you have a backup until you have restored and tested it.

If at all possible, have TMG on two computers. If possible, borrow a little space on your mother's or children's computers (preferably in a different building). Then transfer the .sqz file to the other computer and restore it, and check that it works.

Even big companies have religiously done backups, but find out only when they really need them, they don't work.
