Ron,

No, it's not. Both TMG and SS use the _sort date_ to sequence events. The
date field appears in various reports, and in narrative output if you use
the [D] variable, but it does not control the tag sequence.

My suggestion is to leave the burial _date_ blank if you don't know it, and
set the sort date to the appropriate value to make it sort after the death.
