This is an interesting subject. I don't claim to be the ultimate
researcher. I seem to be able to go back to these records that I have
looked at several times, and still find clues to new research patterns that
I might pursue. I'm sure this is because I have many brickwalls in my
research and I have learned to be more creative in my ways. I don't see a
real answer to this. Doris

Subject: [TMG] Keeping Track of Research
Hi Folks
Because I do not keep any record of what sources I have looked at I find
that over the years I have looked at hard copy material that I have
already seen. What a waste of valuable time! How do you Genealogists
record what you have seen? Do you also record facets of your reading
(negative or otherwise) on a Person's Detail; Screen? Do you use the
Research Log for this type of exercise?
Thanks in advance
Garry
