Nope, doesn't work. The married name is still picked up. Note that
the asterisk (*) column is not available for this filter. It it was
available (and selected), as in most other filters, this and other
filters would work.

However, if the report is run to file (word processor?), the result
may be inspected and those records containing the different Surnames
may be deleted. In my main project of 52, 000 plus, I have a family
of about 1,000 people and the results of the filter gave 243
records. Deleting the records having different surnames (took about
two minutes) left seven marriages records of the couples having the
same surname.
