My suggestion was for something that provides that functionality and more.
So, for example, you'd see what was changed in the tag, and when, and you
could see the last change _and_ all previous changes.

What I keep pushing for, however, is the *genealogical* purpose of the
request. Why do you need to know the date of the last change? I am not
arguing that it isn't needed, I am trying to understand if it's part of a
routine task, what the larger process is, etc.
