Marsha, click on the tag that says FATHER, and then toggle the primary. I
think you can do this via the right click menu. That will move the father to
a non-primary spot and yet still keep him.

What "spurious primary father"? What is the ID# of the father? If
it is zero (0) then there is no father. Of course, this converts to
"unknown person" in reports unless you use the Narrative Children Tag
for the mother as I described.
