I use v6.12, have 2532 people and 3617 names.

I do not use roles, witnesses, sources or any of the other special features.

I export two journal reports in HTML for my website. 1. A list of
descendants of all Root people, 2. A list of descendants of 7 root
people (7 is TMG max)

I export a GEDCOM v4 and change all 2 ALIA to 1 ALIA

I had planned on upgrading to v8 but am surprized to see that there is
zero discount. Is the upgrade worth it based on my circumstances,
especially as I have cancer and may not be around more than 6 months.

The add multiple people at the same time would be useful if new families
suddenly appear.
