Sue -- the Primary toggle is probably grayed out because you don't have any
tag selected. Single click on the tag you want to make primary and the
toggle should appear.

The Primary Toggle is grayed out. I'm not sure how to make the Other
Name the primary. In my mind, it makes sense to list him as he shows
in all the records but have the other name their to show his father's
side of the family.
