Message Board Post:

Infant Wallace: born to Minnie D. Hopper-Wallace and Richard Hullett Wallace; born and passed: 30 Jul 1915. According to his death certificate found at Tom Leatherwood, Shelby County, Register of Deeds, he was born at Memphis City Hospital; buried at County Cemetery; County undertaker at 929 Lane. I've sent letters to Shelby County Public Cemetery on Ellis road but have given up on getting a response (after two-years). I talked with a person at Forest Hills East and was told the old cemetery had not been kept up at one time, most graves did not have stones, and that it was possible the cemetery may not be accessible.

Could someone help me with this, please? I'm at a loss and would appreciate any information or a photo, etc.

I would very grateful.
Renee Wallace-Madron (Richmond, Indiana)
