Margaret Belle Beets

Margaret Belle Beets, age 81, of Talbott, passed
away Sunday,
July 21, 2002, at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare.
She was a
Christian for many years and was an active member
of Alpha
Baptist Church and Montvue Baptist Church. She is
preceded in
death by her husband, Everette Ray Beets, Sr.;
parents, Jake and
Tinnie Akins Hanks; brothers, Jakie Hanks and
William C. Hanks;
sister, Marie Coffey. She is survived by her
daughters and
son-in-law, Peggy and Clifford Cross, Vernice and
James
Crittenden of Talbott; son and daughter-in-law, Ray
“Skip” and
Lorena Beets, Jr. of Morristown; grandchildren, Dee
Dee
Anderson, Debie Vandergriff, Deana Linkous, Steve
Cross,
Sandy Trent, Sharon Cross and “Little man” Robbie
Beets;
several great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Moore
of Morristown;
several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Dottie
Hanks; special
friends, Sue White and the ladies Sunday School
class of Alpha
Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Monday,
July 22, at
Westside Chapel with Rev. Kenny Cole and Rev. Tom
James
conducting the service. Graveside interment
services were held
Tuesday, July 23, at Hamblen Memory Gardens with
Rev. J. B.
Gulley conducting the service. Westside Chapel
Funeral Home,
Morristown, was in charge of arrangements.
