BARTLEY, MRS. PAULINE (POLLY) of LaFollette ,
DANIELS, JERRY KENNETH "KEN", JR. - age 49, of Oak Ridge,
HUTCHISON, THURMAN GLEN - age 55 of Andersonville,

BARTLEY, MRS. PAULINE (POLLY) - passed away at her home in LaFollette on
Saturday, June 14, 2003. Mrs. Bartley was raised in Speedwell, TN, graduated from
Powell Valley High School, and came to LaFollette shortly before her marriage
in 1942. She was retired from the Mountain Valley Economic Opportunity
Authority and was currently the co-owner of Kenny's Pioneer and owner of Bartley's
Self Storage in LaFollette. She was a long time member of the LaFollette United
Methodist Church. Polly is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth White
Bartley; son, Kenny Michael Bartley of LaFollette; daughter and son-in-law,
Sherry Bartley Wright and Douglas Wright of Clinton; grandchildren, Kenneth
Stuart Bartley of LaFollette, Kristen Wright Heffern and her husband, Todd Heffern
of Johnson City; two sisters, Bonnie Bartley of LaFollette, and Rosalie
Edwards of Escondido, CA; brother-in-law, Glen Bartley of LaFollette; several
nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2003 from
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the LaFollette United Methodist Church. Funeral services
will follow beginning at 8:00 p.m., conducted by the Reverend Malcolm Wansley of
LaFollette and the Reverend Don Thomas of Clinton. Members of the Joy class
of the LaFollette United Methodist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at
Beeler Cemetery in Speedwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
LaFollette United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
BETSILL, BETTIE L. - passed away June 11, 2003 at Baptist Hospital of East
Tennessee after an extended illness. Mrs. Betsell was retired from the U. S.
Department of Defense, Defense Investigative Service. She is survived by her 3
children; daughter, Janie Hutto Jones, of Harrisonburg, VA, son, Richard Alan
Betsill, and daughter, Rebecca Ann Betsill, both of Knoxville, TN; grandsons,
Michael and Ronald Hart; great-granddaughter, Kirstein Hart, all of
Harrisonburg, VA. Funeral services are pending. Arrangements by East Tennessee Mortuary
Service.
DANIELS, JERRY KENNETH "KEN", JR. - age 49, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday,
June 13, 2003, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member
of Clinton Second Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Clinton High School,
where he received a Football Scholarship to Austin Peay. He was an avid golfer
and loved his family dearly. Preceded in death by father, Jerry Kenneth
Daniels, Sr.; step-father, James O. Jenkins. Ken was born November 20, 1953, in
Knoxville. Survivors: sons, Chris Daniels of Oak Ridge, and Kevin Daniels of
Clinton; mother, Bertha Fox Jenkins of Oak Ridge; sister, Kim Fraker and husband,
Tim of Oak Ridge; step-brothers, Jimmy Jenkins of Knoxville, and Scott Jenkins
of Oak Ridge; niece, Amber Fraker of Oak Ridge, and a host of extended family
and friends. The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 15,
2003, at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service
following at 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel with Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. Interment
will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday morning at Woodhaven Memory Gardens in
Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.
HUTCHISON, THURMAN GLEN - age 55 of Andersonville, passed away June 14, 2003
at Oak Ridge Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by
parents, Gertie & Carson Hutchison; brother, Bratcher Hutchison. Surviviors:
sisters, Mackle Lue Hutchison, Beulah Mae McGill; brothers, Clifford, R. L.,
Claude, Carl, and Kenny Hutchison. Service 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Mynatt's Chapel
with Reverend Lowell Elkins and Reverend Clyde Gray officiating. Family and
friends will meet at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hutchison Cemetery for interment. The
family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home.
