Dorothy,
I am interested in descendants of Daniel Scales. There is a cemetery at
Eagleville, Scales Burying Ground-- where my husband's great-grandparents and
gg-grandmother are buried. This was the original Daniel Scales homeplace and
cemetery. Tombstones of Daniel and Nancy were dug up last year and if you do
not know about them I will be happy to send the inscriptions.
A group of interested people have had a fence built because a new house was
built right in front of the cemetery and they were dumping theor trash in it.
We are still $800 shy of paying for the fence and would like to find other
descendants to help on it.
