Thanks for the response of those who tried to help me locate
James A. Thompson' old home on Railroad Ave in Shelbyville.
I am now trying for a new angle. James's niece, Ellie Thomp-
son who m. Joseph Trollinger, was willed James Thompson's
home, along with his step-daughter, Moody Ventruess. Ellie
was James's Sister Martha's, daughter. Ellie died in 12/1942.
Her obt. said she died at home, on Railroad Ave. Are there
any Trollinger or Ventruess descendents still in Shelbyville,
who might have know where the home was located? It was
still standing in the 1970's. I have a pic of the house, if any-
one thinks they might be able to identify the pic, I will be glad
to send it to review.
