In the 1880 Bedford County census James R(Riley) Hill age 7 is listed in the
household of WH Hill (William Washington) as grandson. His probable father
is Christopher Columbus Hill age 25 listed in the same household. Family
tradition says James Riley was born in Bedford County so his parents
marriage probably took place there also. Are there any Bedford County
marriage records for the period 1880 to 1884?

I would appreciate any information regarding the availability of such
records and the procedure for getting copies.
