BRADSHAW, RICKY DEAN - age 42, of Norris passed away Monday July 3, 2000 at
UT Hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of Norris First Baptist Church in
Norris. Preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ridenour Bradshaw.
Survivors: father, Kenneth and wife, Gladys Bradshaw of Norris; grandmother,
Kathryn Ridenour Marlow of Norris; aunts, Edith McKamey of Norris, Joyce
Williams, Jo Ann Miller, Wanda McDonald; uncle, Kyle Bradshaw; several nieces
and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2000
at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral services following at 8
p.m. in the chapel with Rev. David Seiber officiating. Interment will be held
10:30 a.m. Friday July 7, 2000 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made
to Norris First Baptist Church. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in
charge of all arrangements
PHILLIPS, MRS. PERNA MAE CHAMBERS - 93, of The Baptist Home of Maryland,
Owings Mills, and formerly of Westminster and New Winsor, died Sunday July 2,
2000, at Long View Nursing Home, Manchester. Born May 4, 1907, in Jellico,
Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Moses Leonard and Dona Moore
Chambers. She was the wife of the late Claude Eugene Phillips who died in
1997. In 1983 Mrs. Phillips and her husband moved to Westminster and in 1994
they became residents of The Baptist Home. Surviving are daughter and son in
law, Doris P. and Sam Pierce, New Windsor; 2 granddaughters, Andela M.
Pierce, Columbia; Claudia D. Morley and husband, Don, Berryville, Va.; 1
grandson, P. Trent Pierce and wife, Carolyn, Westminster; 2 great grandsons,
Phillip S. and Tyler G. Morley; 1 sister, Lorene Peckingpaugh, Cambridge
City, Ind.; 1 brother, M.L. Chambers, Jr., Maryville, Tenn. and numerous
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Grandview Cemetery,
Maryville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The
Baptist Home of Maryland, 10729 Park Heights Ave. Owings Mills, Md. 21117.
Local arrangements are by McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville.
