RAMSEY, ADA - of Clinton, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2000, at the
Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Hardy's Creek Baptist Church in
Jonesville, Virginia. She attended Riverview Baptist Church. She was a loving
housewife & mother. Preceded in death by husband, Arnie Ramsey; parents, Gabe
& Mary McDonald Ramsey; sister, Dorothy Gilliam. Born April 30, 1903 in
Jonesville, Virginia. Survivors: niece, Mary Rose Marcum & husband, Oscar of
Asheville, North Carolina; great nephews, Garry Gilliam & wife, Gloria of
Tazewell, Perry Gilliam of Rose Hill, Virginia; great niece, Patricia Bemard
& husband, George of Asheville, North Carolina. The family will receive
friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in
Clinton. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23rd, at Sunset
Cemetery with Rev. Herschel B. Barrington officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral
Home of Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
