Ruby Quillen Jones, 95, of Lenoir City,
Annette Morrison, 68, of Oliver Springs,

Phyllis Jeanette Jackson, 47, of Lenoir City, formerly of Oliver Springs,


Ruby Quillen Jones, 95, of Lenoir City, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her
home. She was a member of Nelson Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was an
employee of Charles H. Bacon and Holston Knitting Mill. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Earl "Sam" Jones; a son, James Earl Jones; a daughter, Delcie
Keating; two sisters, Lillie Evans and Vola Clemmer; and by two brothers,
Maynard Quillen and Claude Quillen. Mrs. Jones is survived by two grandsons,
Mitchell Jones and wife, Tammi, of Oak Ridge and Mike Keating of Georgia; her
granddaughter, Cammie Jones; two great-granddaughters, Megan Jones and Rebecca Ann
Keating; a sister, Edith Taylor, of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews;
and by a son-in-law, Hobert Keating, of Oak Ridge. The funeral will be at 7
p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with the Rev.
Tony Brock officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22,
at Lenoir City Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the
funeral home and proceed to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5
to 6:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, www.clickfuneralhome.com.

Annette Morrison, 68, of Oliver Springs, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born and raised in Devonia, she was the
daughter of Lonzie and Gertie Seiber. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in
Devonia. Her family said she loved to sew and talk on the phone to her
friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark
Foster Morrison; a son, Billy Mark Morrison; an infant son; two sisters,
Carrie Lee Lowe and Wanda Seiber; and by three brothers, Orlie Seiber, Carvin
Seiber and Carlis Seiber. Mrs. Morrison is survived by a son, Will Lloyd Morrison,
of Oliver Springs; two grandchildren, Heather Sue Ann Morrison of Oliver
Springs and Billy Chris Morrison of Petros; three great-grandchildren, Myranda C
haney, Leesha Chaney and Destiny Morrison; a sister, Glenith Mae Bratcher and
husband, Frank, of Lake City; two brothers, Harley Seiber and wife, Pauline, of
Cincinnati, Ohio, and Leon Seiber Jr. of Oliver Springs; a special niece, Angie
Lowe, of Oliver Springs; and by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2004, at Shiloh
Baptist Church in Devonia with the Rev. Houston Carroll, the Rev. Don Daugherty and
the Rev. Lee Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery in
Devonia. Viewing of the body will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the
church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 21, at
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City.

Robert Howard Woods Sr., 70, of Coalfield, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at
his home. Born April 24, 1934, in Coalfield, he was the son of William C. Woods
and Nella Jones Woods. Mr. Woods was a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran of both the
Korean War and the Vietnam War. He received several commendations including
the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam
Campaign Medal, Navy Unit Commendations and a Combat Action Ribbon. In addition
to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Otto Woods, Austin
Woods, Hubert Woods and Ellis Woods, and by two sisters, Carrie Honaker and
Cassie Musselwhite. Mr. Woods is survived by his wife, Josephine Spurlock
Woods; and by seven children, Robert Howard Woods Jr. and wife, Vicki, of
Jacksonville, Fla., Faye Bruce and husband, Wayne, Woody McLemore and wife, Shirley,
and Sue Oneal and husband, Charlie, all of Phenix City, Ala., Sandra Newbold and
husband, Dan, of Ocean Springs, Miss., Sue Williams and husband, James, of
High Point, N.C., and Karen Cook and husband, Allen, of Greenville, S.C. He is
also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma
Foraker and Catherine Davis, both of Oliver Springs; and by several cousins,
nieces, nephews and extended family members. The funeral will be at 3 p.m.
Friday, May 21, 2004, in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with
Chester Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Woods Cemetery in Coalfield.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Phyllis Jeanette Jackson, 47, of Lenoir City, formerly of Oliver Springs,
died Wednesday, May 19, 2004. Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs is in charge
of arrangements, which were incomplete at presstime.
