Sorry to jump into your posts, but you are talking about my grandparents.

Henry Edgar "Ed" Chapman born, 12--4-1883 and died 1-13-1950
married on 10-3-1905
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Paul: Born 3-31-1888 and died 12-19-1970


Lizzie's parents were :
John Paul born 1837 in NC and died abt. 1923 in Campbell Co, TN
married
Elizabeth Maize (Maze, Mays) the daughter of,
Harden Maze and Francis Richardson

John Paul parents are maybe
Jim Paul and Susie Chapman of North Carolina. (they never migrated to
Campbell Co,Tn they stayed in NC) I'll have to look it up but , I
believe that John Paul and his brother married Maize sisters.

The only Tennie I have listed is the nickname of my mother, Evelyn
"Tennie" Byrge Chapman.

Esquire Paul: I'll look that one up. If my memory is correct that is
John Paul (1837) son of grandson.

Sorry to all that have sent me posts and inquiries this entire year. I
had two major surgeries this year and the pain before and after them. I
am still recuperating for the last one. As I can, I will answer the
hundreds of emails about my Chapmans, Pauls, Maupin and the others.
This is the best I have felt all year.
