Do you have anything on a George W. WILLIAMS b.24 July 1865 unknown place d.
20 Jan 1890 in Benton or Carroll CO. TN. Is buried Pleasant Hill , Baptist
Cemetery in Benton CO. TN. G.W. married in Carroll CO. TN. On 21 Nov. 1886
to Mariah grant GREEN. There were three children born to this marriage
Lucinda b. before 1889, Lucian b. 1889 and Thomas George b. 14 March 1890.
My grandfather was born after the death of his father and so far I have been
unable to locate a family for G.W. WILLIAMS.

I am looking for the parents of Theophilus Williams b Oct 1827 prob
TN. He m Jan 1847 Obion Co., TN to Elizabeth Huzza b July 1827 TN. I do
not know when Theophilus or Elizabeth died as yet, but believe they may have
died in Obion or Weakley or Carroll Co., TN and/or are buried in one of
those counties. The children of Theophilus and Elizabeth are:

i. MEXICO2 WILLIAMS, b. 27 Mar 1850, Harris, Obion, Tennessee.

ii. SARAH WILLIAMS, b. 21 Nov 1852.

iii. MARY E. WILLIAMS, b. 23 Dec 1854.

**iv. JESSE G. WILLIAMS, b. 19 Oct 1856, Harris, Obion, Tennessee; d. 1944,
Weakley County, Tennessee; m. MINNIE BELL GALEY, 1890.

v. STEPHEN WILLIAMS, b. 08 Mar 1858; d. 18 Feb 1877.

vi. NANCY WILLIAMS, b. 23 Dec 1860.

vii. JOHN WILLIAMS, b. 12 Apr 1863, Harris, Obion, Tennessee; m. LUCY
Unknown, 1885.

viii. ELIZABETH WILLIAMS, b. 22 May 1865.

ix. THEOPHILUS WILLIAMS, b. 18 Oct 1868, Obion County, Tennessee; d. 14 Oct
1944, Obion County, Tennessee; m. MAUDE UNKNOWN.

My Elizabeth Huzza's father was John Huzzy (note the name change) I believe,
as he served as surety for Elizabeth and Theophilus' marriage.

In 1830 for Obion Co., TN, I find listed on the Broderbund CD's, a John
Huzzy. From the same CD, I find a Theophilus Williams in GIBSON CO., TN.
They were neighboring counties. These would seem to be the parents of my
Elizabeth Huzza and Theophilus Williams.

Can anyone help with this? Any connections?
