Hello,

What a great list! - I have really enjoyed reading about all these Claiborne
Co families.

Is there anybody out there who would like to exchange information on the
POSEYs or CHADWELLs?

Benjamin Posey and Susannah Chadwell came to Claiborne Co before 1815 from
GA. Their children were Bennett, Temperance (LANKFORD), Barthena (BULLARD),
Elizabeth (MADDOX), David (GIBSON/CRUM), Leeaiden (BANKSON), Susan (BALL),
Nancy (BRITTAIN), Benjamin (BAILEY), and George (ROLIN). While some of
these children and their families remained in Claiborne Co, others moved to
Harlan Co, KY. My direct ancestor, Leeaiden, left home at an early age and
set out for ILL. (I'm not sure that he ever even lived in TN) He ended up
in TX via MO.

Susannah's parents were already in Claiborne Co; they came from VA. I have
not been able to sort out all of the BALLs and BAILEYs that are connected to
the Chadwells and the Poseys. Would love some help.
