Subject: [TNCLAIBO-L] Tax List - Early Claiborne
Date: Tue, 02 Jan 2001 19:41:54 -0600
By any chance does someone have access to an early Claiborne County tax list? I'm looking for any Harrell, Herrell's, Harril, Hearld, etc. that may have been on the rolls as early as 1810-1825.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hey... I've narrowed it down to 41 possible Harrell's of NC that may have been the father of my 4x grandfather Ezekial P. Harrell! (of Claiborne County 1820-1858.) If you have ANY suggestions on how I might figure this out... all are welcome! I believe that his father... whoever he is, may have moved the family from NC (which county I don't know) to Claiborne and then died there.
Happy New Year,
