located on Tackett Creek in Claiborne County Tenn
it way up in the hills and the road to it has been closed so
no one can't go there.

John Tip Davis
son of Richard Davis and Sarah Harp
born: March 3, 1856 in Claiborne County Tenn
died May 16, 1919 in Claiborne County Tenn.

John was a farmer

married Francie (Fanny) Turner Dec. 11, 1880 in Tazewell, Tenn
Daughter of Robert Jesse Turner and Silence Marsee

John and Fanny had two children
Mary Elizabeth Magdaline Davis Oct. 24, 1880
Richard Russell Davis Jan. 1, 1885
daughter of Robert Jesse Turner and Silence Marsee

The 1900 census said they had four children with two living
other two unknown.
