Ruby J. Hensley
August 25, 1924 - April 19, 2009

Ruby J. Hensley, 84; of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee formerly of Monroe died at
7:30 p.m. Sunday at Claiborne County Hospital, Tazewell, Tennessee.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home where
services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Joe Bryant, Pastor of Union
Street Missionary Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be at
Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born August 25, 1924 in Claiborne County, Tennessee she was the daughter of
Samuel and Mary (Beeler) Johnson. She married Luther W. Hensley on March 16,
1941 in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee he preceded her in death on March 3, 1998.
She was a homemaker and a member of Underwood Grove Missionary Baptist
Church and a former member of the Union Street Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons; Charles R. Hensley of Middlesboro, Kentucky and
Glenn W. (Lucille) Hensley of Cookeville, Tennessee; one half-brother, nine
half-sisters, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four
great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three half-sisters and 1
half-brother.
Memorials may be made to the Union Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Della J. Richardson
March 21, 2009

Della J. Richardson, 81 of Monroe died at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood
Southshore Medical Center, Trenton where she was admitted Friday.
Friends may call from 12 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe
where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Lawrence
Detruf, pastor of First Church of God will officiate. Cremation will follow
with burial of the ashes at Woodland Cemetery, Monroe.
Born May 31, 1927 in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee she was the daughter of
Quillen and Rettie (Webb) Neikirk. She married Robert Richardson April 23,
1947. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1968.
A homemaker, Della enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Robert (Sharon) Richardson of Newport, Dennis
(Beverly) Richardson of Painesville, Ohio, Scott (Carol) Richardson of
Madison, Ohio; three daughters, Brenda (Michael) McLaughlin of Newport,
Jeleda Richardson of Temperance and Marla Richardson of Cameron, North
Carolina; a brother-in-law, L.B. Richardson of Knoxville, Tennessee; two
sister-in-laws, Louise Neikirk of Morristown, Tennessee and Dolly Richardson
of Monroe; fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Jeffery, Brian, Jenna, Sara,
Christina, Ronald, A.J., Nathan, Michael Scott, Kelsey, Madison, Denise and
Kenn; eleven great-grandchildren, Shannon, Emma, Lucas, Nicholas, Claire,
Braedan, Landon, Logan, Alahna, Tyler and Joseph. Della is also survived by
several beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a
brother, Doyle Neikirk.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Michael's We Care or the
charity of the donor's choice.

Dora S. Hall, 94, of Monroe died at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday at Mercy Memorial
Hospital.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Rupp Funeral Home where
services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev Von Loop. Pastor, of Frenchtown
Missionary Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be at Roselawn
Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born May 26, 1914 in Harrogate, Tennessee she was the daughter of Campbell
and Harriett (Roberts) Loope. She married Roscoe J. Hall in March 1934 in
Harrogate, Tennessee he preceded her in death April 14, 1986.
She was a member of Kentucky Park Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter-in-law Betty L. Hall of Monroe; grandchildren Mark
(Kelli) Hall, Terri (Ralph Presto) Hall, Matthew Hall, Michael Hall and
Scott Hall; great grandchildren Christopher Hall, Kathryn Hall, Ryan Hall,
Whitney Presto, Drew Presto, Abigayle Hall and Ally Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Carl V. Hall; brothers, Glen,
Thomas, Richard and J.B. Loope sisters Fanny Jones and Georgia Crockett.

John Pete Bullard, Sr.

John Pete Bullard, Sr. 80 of LaSalle died at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday at his
home.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at
the Rupp Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. Rev.
Bobby A. Smith, pastor of Grape Missionary Baptist Church will officiate and
burial will follow at LaSalle Twp. Cemetery, LaSalle.
Born August 4, 1928 in Claiborne County, Tennessee he was the son of Samuel
and Halie (Hatfield) Bullard. He married Ethel M. Smith on March 1, 1950 in
Middlesboro, Kentucky she preceded him in death on August 26, 2008.
John was a Deacon of the Grape Missionary Baptist Church.
He was employed by Ford Motor Co. Monroe retiring in 1981.
Surviving are his four children Joyce (Pat) Gault of Ida; Rev. John
(Valerie) Bullard, Jr. of Monroe; Halie Diane (Michael) Walker of Ida; Lois
(Leonard) Neely of Monroe; brothers Sherman (Carol) Bullard of Pool,
Indiana; Moss (Janice) Bullard of Afton, Tennessee; sisters Olean Quillin of
Indianapolis, Indiana; Lorene Harrell of Beech Grove, Indiana; Mary (Rory)
O'Connell of Greenwood, Indiana and Carolyn Sue (Ray) Prater of Mosheim,
Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, twelve great
grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel M. Bullard, a son Gary W.
Bullard, sisters Axie Bullard and Ruth Smith, brothers Prior and Rev.
Charles Bullard.
Besides his church and singing in his church quartet, his most cherished
time was time spent with his family. Now..he's with Mama, resting in our
Lord.
