Hi Jay & Joe,
I am a McGaha descendant, in fact Jay, we have been in contact before
and I lost your email addy. I'm writing it down this time!
I was the one that sent you the story about
Samuel (McGaughey)McGaha who was my 3x great grandfather. I'm pretty sure
its true, it was told to my great grandmother by her father who was Samuel's
son. I'm sure over the years it may have been embellished some, most oral
family stories are but the basic facts are still there.
Joe, thanks for posting that other McGaha information. I have those
names on my family tree but aside from the names had no other info about
them at this time.
With the kids going back to school on Monday I'm hoping to be able to
get back into tracking down all those elusive ancestors of mine.
