Carolyn, Yes some of the STUART's lef Cocke Co. Tenn. and moved to
Collin Co. .
My STUART line is James Anderson STUART (son of Fanny) that married Mary
Emeline BRYANT. They had 5 children:
1.) Rufus,(he married Mary HUMBARD), 2.) Lucinda (my G-Grandma, she
married Sanders McMAHAN Jr. ),
3.) Lydia, (she married Harrison LEWIS) 4.) Elizabeth, (she married
Jasper THOMPSON)
5.) James Anderson STUART Jr.

I have been trying to find the maiden name of Fanny STUART....she may
have been an ANDERSON.
James Anderson STUART Sr. was killed during the Civil War. He had a twin
sister named Lucy STUART.
