I am looking for a 14 Dec. 1826 marriage between Benjamin
Wilhite/Willhite/Wilhoit/Wilhoite and Nancy C. Pistole. I am writing to
DeKalb Co. (1837), VanBuren Co. (1840), Putnam Co. (1842, abolished 1844,
reestablished 1854), and Cumberland Co. (1855) because at one time some part
of each of them was in White County TN.

I do not know if the marriage will be in any of these counties, but am
looking because it seems logical that the records may have gone with the
newly formed counties.
