Stella, I have some family that lived with a william Bennett in Dekalb, Tennessee in 1880 on the census. The names in the family are : William (age 50 at time of census)married to Mary Sandlin(also age 50) , children Elijah Biby(don't know if his child or not), Fannie C Hawker(my ggrandmother), and Enisa Sandlen(in) his sister-in-law. I believe that his parents were John M. and Susannah. I don't know if any of this helps, I am trying to find out why my ggrandmother was living with the Bennetts and what happened to her parents. I've been told that gggrandma died giving birth to Fannie and her father William Hawker couldn't take care of her. If you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated. I only work on Monday and Friday, that's the only time that I get to use a computer. Thanks, Patricia Spence
