Hi-----
There apparently was a newspaper at some period before the Civil War, but
there are no extant copies. Smith County had a paper then but I don't
remember how many issues there are from that time period. Many/Most of the
Jennings were in the Round Top area, which is a combination of DeKalb and
Wilson counties. I don't think that Wilson has any extant copies if there
was a paper, but you may want to send a request to their Archives and ask
Linda Grandstaff, archivist. She would know for sure.
